Yes, this is political. So if you aren't interested in politics, don't read any further. Also, just a warning--I'm a hardcore Republican, so if you're a highly opinionated Democrat, don't read any further. I'm not looking to start a war; I just want to share my views.

I fully support John McCain. And not just because he's a white Republican, either. I would fully support a black candidate if he had the right platform; it's not about race! McCain holds my views on everything.

The first thing that irritates me about Barack Obama is this: he says he wants change, but he's done nothing to promote unity in America. Every issue he's voted on as a Senator has been on the side of DIVIDING America, which is the LAST thing we should do, what with the state of our precious nation.

He also wants to put MORE Federal funds into the public school. Do you have any idea how much money the public school system wastes each year?! Private schools do twice as well on half the funds! Why would we pour more money down the drain of the school system when there are so many other things we could do with that money to boost the sinking economy and improve the quality of life for American citizens?

But I think the thing that I most dislike about Barack Obama is that he supports partial-birth abortion. Definition: he supports abortion in the second and third trimesters. The method? Delivering the child partway and THEN killing it. It's appalling!

I admit, though, he's young and charming and if I hadn't researched him more than just an article in Reader's Digest, I would be rooting for him all the way. He's got a lot of things on his side. But I can't stand him.

I'm not saying John McCain is perfect--not by a long shot. Nobody is. But he has experience and an amazing VP running mate on his side. Seriously, Sarah Palin is awesome! She's the kind of woman I want for MY Vice President.
